Events At AXΣ
Each semester, we organize a variety of events, ranging from professional development information sessions to community outreach events to review sessions to social events and everything in between! On this page you will find a sample of events we have had these past semesters.
Outreach
For Halloween, the Outreach Committee organized an event for brothers to volunteer at the Ithaca Community Science Center in an event called "Spooky Science". Brothers ran activities and various spooky science experiments to show kids in the Ithaca community just how cool science is! Brothers dressed up in costume and enjoyed a fun-filled day of teaching and bonding with the Ithaca community!
Professional
Brothers attended the Fall 2017 District Conclave held at the University of Rhode Island, a gathering of chapters within the area to discuss topics ranging from pledging to ways to improve the fraternity. Brothers learned about the professional aspects of the national Alpha Chi Sigma Organization and had the pleasure of meeting brothers from other chapters as well as our very own district counselor, Taylor Perkins.
Social
The Social Chairs organized numerous amazing events this semester for brotherhood bonding, from Family Feud night to attending Applefest to Movie Nights or Painting Nights.
